SSL Certificates
Protect your information and your customers' information end-to-end.
Why do I need an SSL certificate?
An SSL certificate encrypts the information transmitted over the internet between the web server and your visitors, keeping sensitive information safe from cybercriminals.
Additionally, it provides greater legitimacy, ensures secure transactions, and activates the padlock and https browsing.
Which one should I choose?
- Domain Validation (DV) certificates offer an economical and quick way to implement SSL on your website. Domain Validated certificates confirm that you own the domain but do not perform any additional organization-level validation.
-
Wildcard SSL allows you to secure an unlimited number of subdomains with a single certificate. It's a great solution for anyone hosting or managing multiple sites or webpages under the same domain. The one-time cost of the certificate covers any additional subdomains you may add in the future.
Unlike a Standard SSL Certificate issued to a single full domain name, e.g., www.yourdomain.com, meaning it can only be used to protect the exact domain it was issued to, a WildCard SSL Certificate is issued to *.yourdomain.com, where the asterisk represents all possible subdomains.
