ENGINEERING SERVICE

Specialized Technical Help (DevOps)

Webzi engineers working directly on your project: from a tweak on your website to high availability infrastructure. You tell us what you need; we diagnose it, quote it and execute it.

$43 USD
per hour
$340 USD
per day · 8-hour shift

What is this service?

Your Webzi plan already includes 24/7 support for the operation of your hosting, email and panel. Specialized Technical Help goes one step further: it is engineering time dedicated to your project — your code, your application, your database, your server, your architecture — with a defined scope, a prior quote and validated results.

You do not need to know exactly what to ask for or which category your case falls into. Describe the problem or the goal in your own words and an engineer will turn it into a clear technical proposal.

How does it work?

1

Tell us what you need.

Start a chat or contact us describing your goal.

2

Free diagnosis and quote.

We assess the scope and propose the estimated hours or days.

3

We execute with method.

Every job follows the same standard: diagnosis → preventive backup → controlled intervention → validation.

4

Verified delivery.

You receive evidence of the work done and recommendations. Only approved time is billed.

Service catalogue

These are the 20 most requested scopes. Each one is executed with the same methodology: diagnosis, preventive backup, intervention and validation. If what you need is not listed here, just ask — chances are we can help with that too.

Websites and WordPress

Ideal if your CMS, framework or platform has gone a long time without updates and you fear something will break.

  • Prior diagnosis of the environment and installed components.
  • Preventive backup of files and database.
  • Controlled update of the platform and its dependencies.
  • Functional validation after the intervention.
It may also include: PHP version and dependency upgrades (Composer, npm), testing on a staging environment before touching production, documented rollback plan, major upgrades of Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop or Laravel.

Ideal if you want WordPress up to date, secure and predictable — or if an update already left your site broken.

  • Review of the overall state of WordPress.
  • Preventive backup of the site and its database.
  • Update of core, plugins and compatible themes.
  • Verification of functionality and correction of related issues.
It may also include: WooCommerce and WordPress Multisite, resolution of plugin conflicts, management of licensed premium plugins and themes, child themes to preserve your customizations, recurring maintenance plans.

Ideal if you need to change content, design or functionality and have no developer on hand.

  • Review of the existing structure and code.
  • Implementation of changes to content, styles or functionality.
  • Adjustments to HTML, CSS, JavaScript or PHP as applicable.
  • Visual and functional validation of the changes made.
It may also include: landing pages for campaigns, mobile adaptation (responsive), contact forms and WhatsApp buttons, installation of Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Meta Pixel, technical SEO (meta tags, sitemap, 301 redirects), seasonal banners and content.

Ideal if your site fails and you do not know why: what matters is finding the root cause, not just the symptom.

  • Technical analysis of the reported behaviour.
  • Review of logs, configuration and related components.
  • Identification of the probable cause of the incident.
  • Application and validation of corrective actions.
It may also include: 500 and 404 errors and blank screens, site down after an update, mixed content (broken HTTPS padlock), forms that do not send, intermittent behaviour under traffic.

Ideal if your site loads slowly, Google penalizes you, or a high-traffic season is approaching.

  • Assessment of response times and resource consumption.
  • Review of configuration, cache, files and database.
  • Implementation of optimization adjustments.
  • Validation of performance after the changes.
It may also include: Core Web Vitals optimization (LCP, CLS, INP), layered caching (page, object, browser), bulk image optimization and conversion to WebP/AVIF, CDN implementation, load testing ahead of events such as Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Migrations, data and recovery

Ideal for scenarios beyond the free standard migration: domain changes, special architectures or migrations with minimal downtime.

  • Analysis of the source and target environments.
  • Backup and transfer of files and databases.
  • Adjustment of paths, configurations and connections.
  • Validation of the site on the new infrastructure.
It may also include: domain change with a 301 redirect strategy, migrations from any provider to Webzi, night or weekend windows to minimize impact, migration of multiple sites in a single project.

Ideal if your data must move between servers, engines or providers without losing a single record.

  • Review of structure, size and compatibility.
  • Preventive backup and export of the information.
  • Import and configuration in the target environment.
  • Validation of integrity, access and operation.
It may also include: MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL, high-volume databases with minimal downtime (delta sync), collation and character encoding conversion (accents, ñ, emoji), consolidation or separation of databases.

Ideal after an accidental deletion, a serious failure or a security incident: we rescue what can be rescued and get it running.

  • Diagnosis of the state of files, backups and databases.
  • Identification of the available recovery point.
  • Controlled restoration of the information.
  • Validation of integrity and subsequent operation.
It may also include: partial restoration (database only, files only or mail only), recovery after a hack or a failed update, assessment of what is recoverable before intervening.

Ideal if today you could not answer with certainty: "when was your last verified backup?"

  • Analysis of the information, frequency and destination required.
  • Configuration of backup policies and tasks.
  • Implementation of retention and storage.
  • Execution test and verification of the generated backup.
It may also include: 3-2-1 strategy with off-site destinations, periodic restore testing (a backup that is never tested does not exist), retention policies according to your business or compliance requirements.

Ideal if your database works… but keeps getting slower, or you want to prepare it to grow.

  • Review of the engine, resources and operating requirements.
  • Adjustment of parameters, users and permissions.
  • Basic optimization of configuration and connections.
  • Validation of the service and access to the information.
It may also include: tuning based on your real workload, identification and optimization of slow queries, read replicas to spread the load, cleanup of databases that have grown out of proportion.

Servers and infrastructure

Ideal if you purchased a VPS or Dedicated Server and want it installed, configured and production-ready.

  • Review of technical requirements and available resources.
  • Installation or configuration of the required services.
  • Adjustment of system, network and application parameters.
  • Operation and connectivity testing.
It may also include: Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky), stacks with Apache, NGINX or LiteSpeed, PHP-FPM, Node.js, Python, Redis and Memcached, cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux administration, SSL certificates in special setups (wildcard, multi-domain), monitoring with alerts.

Ideal to shield your server before an incident — or to clean up and secure it after one.

  • Review of configuration and service exposure.
  • Application of hardening measures and access control.
  • Adjustment of firewall, permissions and security policies.
  • Validation of services after the intervention.
It may also include: cleanup of compromised sites (malware and backdoor removal), removal of Google Safe Browsing warnings ("deceptive site"), fail2ban and SSH key-based access, web application firewall (WAF) with custom rules, post-incident remediation and hardening, security audit with a findings report.

Ideal if your team built an application and you need it online in a professional way.

  • Review of the application requirements and dependencies.
  • Preparation of the runtime environment.
  • Deployment and configuration of related services.
  • Access and basic operation testing.
It may also include: applications in Node.js, Python or PHP (Laravel and other frameworks), deployment with Docker and Docker Compose containers, environment variable and domain configuration, separate development, staging and production environments.

Ideal to eliminate repetitive manual tasks: let the server work for you.

  • Analysis of the operational process to automate.
  • Development or configuration of scripts and scheduled tasks.
  • Implementation of basic execution controls.
  • Validation of the automated process.
It may also include: continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, automatic deployment from your repository, scheduled maintenance and cleanup tasks (cron), execution notifications and alerts.

Ideal if your operation cannot stop: media, high-traffic e-commerce, critical platforms.

  • Analysis of architecture and operational requirements.
  • Configuration of nodes, load balancing and related services.
  • Implementation of redundancy and continuity mechanisms.
  • Technical testing of communication and availability.
It may also include: load balancers and clusters, database replicas with failover, architectures for traffic peaks and large campaigns, disaster recovery (DR) plan with testing, technical documentation of the architecture.

Email, DNS and integrations

Ideal if your email lands in spam, gets rejected, or your domain ended up on a blacklist.

  • Review of accounts, services and related records.
  • Configuration or adjustment of SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
  • Diagnosis of sending, receiving or authentication errors.
  • Technical validation of the implemented configuration.
It may also include: blacklist removal and reputation monitoring, complex mail migrations (large volumes, multiple domains, from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), mail flow rules, aliases and shared mailboxes, centralized corporate signatures.

Ideal when touching DNS makes you nervous — and rightly so: one mistake here takes down site and email at once.

  • Review of the DNS zone and associated services.
  • Creation or modification of the required records.
  • Validation of resolution, propagation and connectivity.
  • Correction of detected inconsistencies.
It may also include: zero-downtime changes through a TTL strategy, pointing to external services (Shopify, Google, CDNs), subdomains for applications and test environments, DNSSEC implementation, audit and cleanup of zones with legacy records.

Ideal to connect your site with the tools that run your business: payments, CRM, invoicing, inventory.

  • Analysis of the systems, services or APIs involved.
  • Configuration of credentials, endpoints and communication.
  • Implementation or adjustment of the required integration.

It may also include: architecture assessment (can your infrastructure handle your growth?), second opinion on third-party proposals, technical support for your in-house team or agency, basic training to manage your site, panel or server.

Ideal when your case does not fit any of the categories above — or when you simply need an engineer by your side.

  • Analysis and handling of the requested requirement.
  • Execution of technical activities within the contracted time.
  • Application of adjustments, tests and corresponding validations.
  • Basic documentation of the actions performed.
It may also include: support during launches, campaigns or third-party maintenance windows, assisted monitoring during critical events, ad-hoc technical support for your development team.
