New Account Activation
1. Activation Process
Webzi sets up new hosting accounts once 100% of the corresponding service fee has been received and confirmed. We commit to activating hosting, reseller, and domain accounts within a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 24 hours from payment confirmation.
For activations of dedicated servers, VPS, infrastructure, or any other specialized service, activation times may be longer. The estimated time will be communicated at the time of contracting.
2. Customer Obligations
The customer commits to:
- Make the corresponding payment before the invoice due date
- Provide an email address external to their domain contracted with Webzi (to ensure receipt of important communications)
- Provide accurate and up-to-date personal, contact, and tax information
- Keep their contact information updated in the customer area
3. Delivery of Access Credentials
Once the account is activated, access credentials will be automatically sent to the email address registered by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to:
- Check their inbox and spam/junk folder
- Add Webzi domains to their safe contacts list
- Contact support if credentials are not received within 24 hours
Webzi is not responsible for credentials not received due to spam filters, incorrect email addresses, or full mailboxes provided by the customer.
4. Verification and Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our infrastructure, Webzi reserves the right to:
- Request documentation verifying the customer's identity (valid government ID, proof of address, selfie with ID, etc.)
- Verify the authenticity of the payment method used
- Withhold activation until payment legitimacy is confirmed, especially for credit or debit card payments
- Reject account activation when there are signs of fraud, identity theft, or use of false information
- Reject requests from customers who have previously violated our terms of service or are on abuse lists
The customer agrees to cooperate with any verification process. Refusal to provide requested documentation authorizes Webzi to cancel the order and process the corresponding refund, minus any applicable bank fees.
5. False or Inaccurate Information
If Webzi detects that the customer has provided false, inaccurate personal, contact, or tax information, or information belonging to a third party without authorization:
- The account will be immediately suspended without prior notice
- The customer will have 48 hours to clarify the situation and provide correct information
- If not clarified, the account will be permanently cancelled without right to refund
- Webzi may report the incident to competent authorities if illegal activity is detected
6. Initial Limits on New Accounts
As a protection measure against abuse and spam, new hosting accounts may be subject to temporary limits during the first days of operation, including but not limited to:
- Limits on the number of outgoing emails per hour
- Temporary restrictions on certain ports or services
- Additional activity monitoring
These limits are automatically adjusted as the account demonstrates legitimate use, or may be modified by technical support at the customer's request, subject to evaluation.
7. Accounts in Pending Status
An account may remain in "Pending" status when:
- The payment is being verified by the payment processor
- Additional identity verification is required
- There are inconsistencies between the provided data and payment information
- The order has been flagged for manual review
In these cases, the customer will be notified by email with the corresponding instructions to complete the activation.
