Note: Processing times are approximate and depend on the payment processor. Webzi is not responsible for delays caused by external processors.
2. Accepted Currencies
Prices are displayed and charged in the corresponding currency according to the site from which you make your purchase:
- webzi.mx: Mexican Pesos (MXN)
- webzi.es: Euros (EUR)
- webzi.app: US Dollars (USD)
Prices shown on the site include VAT. The applicable tax will be calculated and displayed during checkout before confirming payment.
3. Billing Cycles
Webzi offers various billing cycles depending on the service:
- Monthly: Payment every month
- Annual: Payment every 12 months
- Biennial: Payment every 24 months
- Triennial: Payment every 36 months
Longer cycles generally offer greater discounts. The cycle selected at the time of contracting will be maintained for subsequent renewals, unless the customer requests a change.
4. Invoice Generation
Renewal invoices are automatically generated before service expiration:
| Cycle | Days in Advance |
|---|---|
| Monthly | 5 days before |
| Annual, Biennial, Triennial | 15 days before |
| Domains | 15 days before |
5. Payment Reminders
Webzi sends automatic email reminders to help you keep your services up to date:
- 3 days before due date: Pending invoice reminder
- 1 day after due date: First overdue notice
- 2 days after due date: Second and final overdue notice
It is the customer's responsibility to keep their contact information updated to receive these notices. Webzi is not responsible for suspended services due to emails not received because of incorrect contact information.
6. Consequences for Non-Payment
The following process is automatically applied when an invoice is not paid:
| Time | Action |
|---|---|
| Due date | Invoice status changes to "Overdue" |
| +3 days | SERVICE SUSPENSION - Website, email and associated services stop working |
| +10 days | REACTIVATION FEE - An administrative fee of $99.00 MXN is applied to reactivate the account |
| +30 days | AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION - Account and all data are permanently deleted |
Important: Once the account is cancelled for non-payment, the data cannot be recovered. Webzi does not maintain backups of cancelled accounts. It is the customer's responsibility to maintain their own backups.
7. Reactivation of Suspended Services
If your service has been suspended for non-payment:
- Pay the pending invoice from your client area. If more than 10 days have passed since the due date, a reactivation fee of $99.00 MXN will be included
- The service will be automatically reactivated within 15 minutes to 2 hours
- If it is not automatically reactivated, contact technical support
Note: Reactivation is only possible during the suspension period (before day 30). After automatic cancellation, you will need to contract a new service.
8. Service Renewal
Webzi services do not automatically renew with card charges by default. The customer must make each renewal payment manually or set up automatic payments from their client area if they want automatic charges.
If you wish to cancel a service and not renew it, simply do not pay the renewal invoice. The service will be automatically cancelled after the established period. You can also request immediate cancellation from your client area.
9. PayPal Subscriptions
Some Webzi services can be configured with recurring PayPal subscriptions, which generate automatic charges on the renewal date without requiring any action from the customer.
Important: It is the customer's sole responsibility to cancel their PayPal subscription if they no longer wish to receive automatic charges. Webzi cannot cancel PayPal subscriptions on behalf of the customer.
To cancel a PayPal subscription:
- Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select Payments > Manage automatic payments
- Look for "Webzi" or "Artehosting" in the merchant list
- Click Cancel to stop future payments
Note: Canceling the subscription in PayPal does not automatically cancel your service with Webzi. The service will remain active until the end of the paid period. If you wish to cancel the service, you must also request it from your customer area.
Webzi will not issue refunds for automatic charges from PayPal subscriptions that the customer forgot to cancel. It is the customer's responsibility to manage their active subscriptions.
10. Partial Payments
Partial payments are not accepted. Each invoice must be paid in full for the payment to be applied. If you make a payment for an amount less than the invoice, it will remain as credit in your account and the invoice will remain pending.
11. Credits and Account Balance
Credits in your account may originate from:
- Overpayments
- Promotions or compensations applied by Webzi
- Partial refunds (when applicable)
Credits will be automatically applied to the next generated invoice. Credits are not refundable in cash and do not expire as long as the account remains active.
12. Chargebacks
If the customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment processor:
- The associated service will be immediately suspended without prior notice
- An administrative fee of $500 MXN (or equivalent) will be applied to cover bank fees
- Webzi will provide all necessary evidence to dispute the chargeback
- If the chargeback is resolved in the customer's favor, the administrative fee will not be refunded
- Repeated chargebacks will result in permanent account cancellation
Recommendation: Before initiating a chargeback, contact our support team. Most situations can be resolved directly without involving your bank.
13. Electronic Invoicing (CFDI)
Webzi issues electronic invoices (CFDI) valid before the SAT for customers in Mexico:
- To receive your CFDI, you must have your tax information configured in your client area before making the payment
- The CFDI is automatically generated when the payment is applied if the tax information is complete
- If you did not configure your tax information, you have up to 72 hours after payment to request it
- After 72 hours, the invoice will be issued to the general public and cannot be modified
- Invoices for previous periods are not issued and re-invoicing is not performed
Required information: RFC (Tax ID), Legal Name (as it appears on the Tax Status Certificate), Tax domicile postal code, Tax regime and CFDI usage.
14. Promotions and Discounts
Promotions and discounts are subject to the following conditions:
- Promotional discounts generally apply only to the first period of contracting
- Renewals are billed at the current regular price, unless otherwise indicated
- Promotions cannot be combined with each other
- Promotional codes have expiration dates and specific conditions
- Webzi reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions without prior notice
- Abuse of promotions (multiple accounts, resale, etc.) may result in service cancellation
15. Price Changes
Webzi may modify the prices of its services at any time. For more information on how price changes are handled, please see our Pricing Policy.
