Pricing Policy

This policy describes how Webzi establishes, updates, and applies prices for its services. By contracting any service, the customer accepts the pricing terms in effect at the time of contracting.

1. Current Prices

The official and current prices for all Webzi services are published at:

The prices shown on these platforms are the only valid ones. Any prices found on third-party sites, comparison websites, or outdated information are not valid.

2. Currency and Taxes

All prices on the webzi.mx website are expressed in:

  • Currency: Mexican Pesos (MXN)
  • VAT: All prices include VAT (16%)

The VAT amount is itemized on the tax invoice (CFDI) issued for each payment. No additional tax charges are added at the time of payment.

3. Promotional Prices vs. Renewal Prices

It is important to understand the difference between these two types of prices:

Promotional Price Discounted price for new customers or new contracts First billing cycle only
Renewal Price Regular price without promotional discounts From the second billing cycle onwards

Example: A hosting plan may have a promotional price of $499 MXN/year for the first year, but renew at $899 MXN/year starting from the second year. Both prices are clearly shown during the contracting process.

4. Price Guarantee per Cycle

Webzi guarantees that the contracted price will not change during the paid billing cycle:

  • If you contract a monthly plan, the price is honored for that month
  • If you contract an annual plan, the price is honored for that year
  • If you contract a biennial or triennial plan, the price is honored for the entire period

At the time of renewal, the price in effect at that time will apply, which may be different from the originally contracted price.

5. Discounts for Billing Cycles

Webzi offers discounts for contracting longer billing cycles:

Monthly Base price, no additional discount
Annual Discount on the equivalent monthly price
Biennial (2 years) Greater discount + protection against increases for 2 years
Triennial (3 years) Maximum discount + protection against increases for 3 years

Specific discounts vary by service and are indicated in the shopping cart.

6. Price Changes

Webzi reserves the right to modify the prices of its services at any time. Price changes:

  • Do not affect already paid cycles
  • Apply to new contracts immediately
  • Apply to renewals from the date of the change

Notification: Price changes are reflected on the website and in the customer area. Additionally, for significant increases in existing services, Webzi will send an informational email at least 30 days before the renewal date.

7. Upgrades (Plan Improvements)

When a customer wishes to change to a higher plan:

  • Prorated calculation: The unused value of the current plan is calculated
  • Credit applied: The remaining value is applied as credit towards the new plan
  • Difference to pay: The customer only pays the difference
  • New cycle: The upgrade may start a new billing cycle

Example: If you paid $1,200 MXN for an annual plan and after 6 months you decide to upgrade to a $2,400 MXN/year plan:

  • Credit for 6 unused months: $600 MXN
  • Cost of the new annual plan: $2,400 MXN
  • Total to pay for the upgrade: $1,800 MXN

8. Downgrades (Plan Reduction)

When a customer wishes to change to a lower plan:

  • The downgrade is scheduled to apply at the next renewal
  • No proportional refund for the current cycle
  • The customer maintains the resources of the higher plan until the end of the paid cycle
  • It is the customer's responsibility to reduce their resource usage before the downgrade

Important: If at the time of the downgrade, usage exceeds the limits of the new plan, the customer must reduce their content (files, emails, databases) before the change takes effect.

9. Coupons and Promotional Codes

Webzi occasionally offers discount coupons subject to the following conditions:

  • One coupon per order: It is not possible to combine multiple coupons
  • Single use: Each coupon can be used only once per customer
  • Expiration date: Coupons have an expiration date
  • Specific services: Some coupons apply only to certain services
  • New contracts: Most coupons apply only to new services, not renewals
  • Not retroactive: Coupons do not apply to previous purchases

Third-party coupons: Webzi does not guarantee the validity of coupons found on third-party sites. Only coupons published on official Webzi channels or sent directly to customers are valid.

10. Additional Services and Add-ons

Prices for additional services (add-ons) work as follows:

  • Domains: Price according to extension (.com, .mx, etc.) and years contracted
  • SSL Certificates: Annual price according to certificate type
  • ID Protection: Additional annual charge per domain
  • Dedicated IPs: Additional monthly or annual charge
  • Licenses: Price according to software and period

Additional services are billed independently and may have different billing cycles from the main service.

11. Price Errors

In case of obvious errors in published prices:

  • Webzi reserves the right to cancel orders placed with erroneous prices
  • The customer will be notified and offered a full refund
  • The customer may choose to contract at the correct price

An obvious error is considered when the displayed price is significantly lower than the market price or the historical price of the service (for example, a service of $1,000 shown at $10 due to a data entry error).

12. Invoicing (CFDI)

Webzi offers a self-invoicing system for the customer to issue their own CFDI:

  • Invoicing portal: webzi.mx/factura
  • Once payment is made, the customer can generate their CFDI from the portal
  • The customer must enter their tax information (RFC, business name, tax regime, CFDI use, postal code)
  • The CFDI is generated instantly and sent by email

Automatic invoicing: If the customer's account has only one set of tax information registered, the CFDI may be issued and sent automatically after payment. However, this is not guaranteed and the customer must verify receipt of their invoice.

Important considerations:

  • It is not possible to automatically issue CFDI for previous months. If required, please contact us.
  • To cancel an issued CFDI, contact support within the same month
  • Tax information must match exactly with what is registered with the SAT
